Description: This set was designed to fit Tamiya's 1/48 scale kit. This laser etched zimmerit set reproduces the pattern as seen on JagdTiger tank Destroyers. The set includes extra panels of material for experimenting or customizing to match a particular tank that might have used shrouds around the exhaust tubes. There are two pieces for covering the ball mount MG bulge, allowing you to get used to forming the paper over a compound curve. So the pressure will be off for that detail.The hull panels extend well up the superstructure sides, allowing you to cut them down to match photos of a particular vehicle. The panels are designed to have a little bit of overlap on the model edges. This makes positioning more forgiving and the excess is easily cut with a sharp blade if necessary.As with our other zimmerit sets, working with this product will make the process of applying zimmerit to your model fast and enjoyable. No special tools, primers, glues are needed as the paper adheres easily to the model using thinned white glue (PVA) applied with a brush or from the bottle. We've also found that the product: ModPodge is suitable and easy to use for attaching the panels.Battle damage is easily added with the edge of a sharp blade.
