Description: I need to clear some space on my shelves, so I have to part with some of my collection. The Airbus A400M is a modern cargo plane, designed for versatility, capacity and economy. Four efficient 8-bladed turboprops can move large loads over great distances. The prototype aircraft were nicknamed Grizzly and the production planes are called Atlas. The fuselage and wing shape reminds me of the C-141s my father flew on for so many years, only a little fatter. Revell created their enormous 1/72 A400M “Grizzly” back in 2011 and has improved on that release with a stunning set of decals for German Luftwaffe and French Armée de l’Air aircraft. I found a few dozen listings for this kit on eBay (mostly from Europe), but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship this very quickly. Here is some of the info I found from around the web about this humongous kit: The revell.de site has a wonderful page for this modern kit that shows the superior box art and photos of an immaculately finished model. There is even a video montage of these photos set to music, with some German caption. They provide quite a bit of information about the kit, some of which I have shown below: Take off into the world of model building with our Airbus A400M Luftwaffe model kit. In 1:72 scale, this 212-piece kit offers an accurate recreation of the state-of-the-art cargo and transport aircraft that will meet the future needs of the air force. With a length of 644 mm and a wingspan of 590 mm, this model will leave a lasting impression. Recommended for modelers 14 years and older, this kit guarantees hours of modeling fun and an interesting challenge. · Fuselage with recessed sheet metal butts· Detailed cockpit with seats and instrument panel· Cargo hold with textured floor· Detailed main landing gear area· 2 propeller versions to choose from for flight or rest position· The tail ramp can be shown either open or closed Scalemates.com shows that this is a 2017 release based on a new tooling from 2011. They have a link to the complete full-color 24-page instruction set and painting guide. They also provide links to reviews, aftermarket parts and references. Peter Susat prepared a very useful In-Box Review on the German-language ipmsdeutschland.de site that shows eight large photos of the sprues and decals. He liked the fit and detail of the parts and the thoroughness of the instructions. His Conclusion was: “At first glance, everything looks very positive and I hope that it will be confirmed during construction. Before you start building, you should first create space in the showcase.” Christian Weitzer posted his In-Box Review on the German-language kitreviewsonline.de site. You get 56 large and high-resolution photos giving us a great view of the parts. He loved the large size of the model and his translated Result starts with: “The parts make a very good impression. As written at the beginning, fish skins are basically non-existent. The clear parts are excellently cast and the decals are very numerous.” MiniatureWorld Models has created a pair of videos on YouTube for this kit. The first would be a 19-minute Unboxing Video of this massive kit. There is also a 27-minute Build Review that time-lapses through the whole process from assembly to finishing. MD Scale Models has recorded an Unboxing Video that is 14 minutes long and gives you a close-up view of the parts. This kit is in a large, gorgeous box about 23.5” x 16.5” x 4.5”. As you can see from the pictures, the package is in great condition and still sealed with six large tape disks, so it is factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains one complete injection molded kit with over 200 grey and clear plastic parts and a massive decal sheet designed by AirDOC and printed in Italy (reportedly by Cartograf). I use eBay Managed Payments, but I no longer ship internationally. Auction winner pays winning bid and for a limited time, this large, heavy kit is offered with $18 Flat Rate Shipping in the US! No reserve and a low starting bid. Check out my other great auctions for combined shipping. Good luck! Those familiar with my listings can tell that I really enjoy these products and the modeling hobby. I like to provide more than just the bare facts about the items, trying to lead you into discovering more about the subjects and optimizing your builds (if that is your goal). I started out picking up models that I was interested in, with the eye toward building them when I had time. Always a bargain-hunter, I accumulated many more than I can build, so I found myself in a Collector status (sounds nicer than a hoarder). As I am sure you have noticed, my items are almost always sealed and in mint condition (I call them Gift-Ready), since I only open them when I am ready to build them. Now I enjoy making these products available to my fellow modelers; both Builders and Collectors. For the Builders, there are probably better (at least cheaper) ways to add to your project lists than buying from me, but you know you are getting top quality. For Collectors, my goal is to save you a few bucks over the competition for the same item in factory sealed and collectible (or resellable) condition.
