Description: Stunning original antique chest, which is in distressed antique condition, but certainly looks the part! Some original iron fittings, including handles and the original hinges, but also with a new latch. The wood was once completely covered in leather/skin, but it is largely worn off. Brass studs with initials and designs. This is about late 17th or early 18th century. Stunning antique piece. Does have a slight musty smell inside so will need airing, otherwise an amazing piece.
