Description: 17th Century Charles II Armchair Country of Origin: EnglandCirca: 1680 This old oak survivor has a great deal of age charm with a beautifully carved floral motif back panel displaying five marigold flowers and tulips. The entire chair exudes a wonderfully old patinated finish. Interestingly, this piece is associated with Cold Overton Hall in England. It was formerly in the collection of C. Kenneth Binns, a very well known figure in the British antiques trade and was auctioned off as a part of his estate by Christies in 1990. These details only add to the piece's value. A gorgeous piece of history that would make a statement in any room.
