It is approximately 218 years old from Edward Wells, A Historical Geography of the Old Testament, published in Oxford, Clarendon Press, 1801, a copy of the title page is included for authenticity. It is by Thomas Condor, an English Cartographer and Engraver (1750-1805), as stated in the bottom right margin of the map. Overall, a very well preserved map that would frame up well or could be used for research publication since the copyright has long expired.Size: The map image measures approximately 6 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches (17x22cm) on a 8 1/4 by 10 1/4" (21x26cm) page with a margin all around for framing. Condition: The map is in Good to Very Good condition for its age, printed on strong cotton paper, deckle edge on top, blank on the reverse with two horizontal folds as issued. It has light tonal ageing and a hint of backprinting, very slight crease on the tip of the upper right corner in margin, slight double creasing along the bottom fold otherwise very clean with a nice antique appearance as desired, see the pics for more on condition.
