1850 Stunning Green Silk Off the Shoulders Evening Dress XXS

Description: Inventory no: WDR 3537 Wonderful 1850`s green iridescent , off the shoulders ball gown. This dress was worn with a hoop skirt. Which would have shown it off to its full potential. Due to my mannequins height ( too tall ) the dress does not show you how the dress would have touched the floor. The mannequin is wearing a regular petticoat. Not included. It looks like it was designed as a top and a full skirt. Then stitched together. Lining looks like a brown cheese cloth that has scattered in several places. Underside off skirt had a waxy cotton material running along hem. Dress hooks up the back with wonderful original silk buttons. There is no perspiration stains, no holes or tears in the outside of this dress. Pretty unbelieveable for a dress this old. Material : Wonderful iridescent silk Lined : Yes Size : XX-Small Waist : 22" Bust : 33" Hips : Full Length : 52"from chest to hem Sleeves : 7" Across back between shoulders : 13 1/2" Armpit opening: 6 1/2" Arm opening: 5 1/2" Condition : Great,a few yellowish spots in the front and a tiny one in the back. Condition chart: $ MINT : Either, never worn or still with tags, its in pristine condition * Excellent : Worn, but does not show any signs of wear, that I can see. + Great : Worn but near perfect . Small signs here and there . Pinholes barely detectable flaws, remember it is vintage. ~ Good: Still wearable but needs repair ( new zippers,small holes , fading repairs, etc.) AS IS !
