Description: 1893 COLUMBIAN COMMEMORATIVE HALF DOLLAR PCGS MS 64 GORGEOUS ORIGINAL TONE OVER BOTH SIDES. Lustrous gunmetal grey/lilac turns to soft rose and turquoise under a light and a loupe. The reverse is quite flamboyant in sandy golden red and brisk turquoise. Light tics only, and just really nice. While the distribution for the 1893 exceeded that of the 1892 by 600,000, it seems the survival of nice higher grade BU examples is less. The first of the Commemorative halves, and a very pleasing one at that.
