Description: Red and white ladies two piece costume summer gown. 1770-1780s Revolutionary War era reproduction made of 100% IKEA 18th century reproduction cotton fabric. Professionally made costume with hand work details on the outside. Dress top size is approximately US 10-14 and can be altered to be slightly larger or smaller. Measures 31" waist, 38" bust. Length from shoulder to hem is 53 1/2" and can be worn down or buttoned up a la Polonaise. Laces up the front and the separate stomacher pins on to cover. Lightly boned, can be worn with stays or without. The skirt which ties on like an apron will fit a variety of waist sizes up to 32" or the waistband pleats can be replaced for a larger size. 29" long with a 3" hem fold. This is shown on a size 10 mannequin and it's too big for her, and the cage panniers are not included. Worn once at the Gaspee Parade and washed after. Machine washable with cold water, air dry, and steam iron.
