We are selling this in used, "as is", non-playable condition. The keys are all in working order, however, the new owner should expect to replace all the pads, felts and corks if you are planning on playing it. As shown in the photos, the alternate side G# key lever and key bracket are missing. The satin silver finish on the body of the instrument is original with less than 5% wear. They keys are bright silver with minor wear on two of the top side keys and octave key. SPECIFICATIONS: Brass construction with satin silver finish on the body. Bright silver plated keys and inside of the bell flare.Split bell keys. Beautiful flower engraving on the bell. Made by Frank Holton Company in Elkhorn, WI.Serial # 20200 -- 1912 Production. The is a C stamped above the serial # and an LP stamped below the serial #. This instrument includes what looks like a vintage C-melody or alto saxophone mouthpiece. The stamping is very difficult to read on the mouthpiece but in just the right light it appears to say E. Santem ME PARIS. On the back of the mouthpiece you can very faintly make out the word FRANCE. I got several of the letters to show up in a photos but couldn't get the total word FRANCE to show up. The length from top to the bottom of the mouthpiece is 3 7/16". The case is original but it is definitely showing its' 111 year age! However, it will work as added protection for the instrument when we box the instrument to ship it to you. It would be up to the new owner whether to keep or toss the case once they receive it.
