Description: A beautiful vintage wedding gown -worn one time- in 1957. Some history is included w/this gown.Classic lace & net - very 50's look!Color - whiteFabric - nylon lace & net. Fully lined w/a separate rayon satin lining.The collar, sleeves & bodice are all lace w/an ornate floral pattern. Small collar, long sleeves w/button cuffs. Sleeves, yoke & shoulders are unlined - the rest of the gown is lined. Fitted waist. Very full skirt. The skirt has tiers of net & lace & a separate net lining/underskirt. Bust, bodice & skirt are fully lined. Buttons in back w/39 satin-covered buttons & loops - same style is on the cuffs. Tea length.No label. Commercially-made.Size - small - actual measurements of the gown - bust 34", waist 24", hips 50", length 50"Condition - very good - no flaws - carefully stored for nearly 70 years.History- worn one time for the 1957 wedding of Ronald & Jeanette Brandau in Dixon IL. Ron was a Korean Conflict veteran & served in the US Army from 1953-1957.
