Description: Please read the description & measurements prior to purchasing. Available for purchase is a hard to find, rare made for 1968 Vox Stinger IV-V284 black bass pickguard. We had a customer come into our shop and made a request to have us create a pickguard in the original shape for his bass that had shrunk. It's pretty common for these pickguards to shrink and distort over the years. (see examples in last three photos) We were able to see the original pickguard shape impression on his bass and after several hours, created a template for routing the 1/8" thick black acrylic material with a rolled and polished edge like the originals. I'm not sure if this will fit other years as pickguards in general do not interchange and are year & model specific. Check the measurements in the third photo to see if it's a match to your bass. This one measures 2-3/16" between pickups. The pickguard will come without mounting holes as there's been no consistency. We make all our pickguards in our USA shop with hand finished and polished edges. All our listings are copied from customer supplied original pickguards when possible, never tracings which are not 100% accurate. Please check our 100% positive feedback we have enjoyed over the years. We accept returns within 30 days as long as the pickguard has not been mounted and is in new condition.
