Description: WORKING DESCRIPTION:This game is working perfectly. The monitor has been rebuilt and has a great picture (it is an Electrohome G-07, the workhorse of the industry). The game is running on all original hardware. I rebuilt the monitor myself. The controls work perfectly. Marquee has new light bulb and starter, coin door lights are new (and LED), and it has a new lock on the coin door. Game has coin mechs and original back door. It is currently on Free Play, but can be switched to coin operation simply. This is another difficult game to find these days. Especially in an original cabinet with nice original artwork all around. I know, most games are hard to find these days. But some are definitely more difficult than others. Well, to give you an idea, this is one of only two dedicated Eagle games I have been able to find in 30 years of full-time collecting, buying, and selling games. As opposed to more common games that I have literally personally owned hundreds of (and passed on hundreds more). Eagle is also a very fun game. I personally enjoy it more than Galaga, which it is quite similar to. FWIW, this is the same game as Moon Cresta. Not sure of the history, but my guess is that the original programmer licensed the same game to two different companies under two different names. Centuri got Eagle, and Sega/Gremlin got Moon Cresta. Or was it Nichibutsu? Can't remember. Anyway, it is very similar to Galaga but better. It is the same kind of thing where you go back and forth and shoot bad guys that fly around above you and then dive at you. And you can dock multiple ships to get 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 shots at a time (galaga has only 1 or 2 shots with docking). And there are lots of different waves of different types of attackers, unlike Galaga which pretty much has the exact same enemies throughout the entire game. So buy this and give it a shot - I think it will do quite well for you, as it has for me. I'm keeping one for my arcade for sure. This is my only extra. CONDITION and RATINGS for THIS SPECIFIC MACHINE: Cosmetically, this game is in pretty decent condition for a "survivor." The marquee is original and had some paint flaking on the back side. That side was sprayed with off white paint to block the holes and stop the damage. It looks presentable, but finding a new one would be nice. The cabinet is solid and in decent shape but not perfect. There is a busted corner on the bottom right side. The sideart is decent but not perfect. The coin door is nice and has new lock and coin mechs. The game has new T-molding. If you need any more pictures or have any questions, please let me know - I'm happy to answer. Numeric Ratings:MARQUEE: 10/10BEZEL: 10/10CONTROL PANEL: 9/10COIN DOOR: 9/10CABINET: 9/10 LOCATION:This game is located in sunny, beautiful downtown McLean, IL 61754. That's right...in the heart of Classic Arcade World where Arcadia: America's Playable Arcade Museum, Pinball Paradise, and Hotel Arcadia are located! I suggest buying this game and then making its pickup a fun family road trip! We have over 140 playable games and luxurious arcade-themed lodging options. Contact me for more details or look for hotel Arcadia on airbnb. SHIPPING:Included in the price is FREE WHITE GLOVE SHIPPING from North American Van Lines. They will bring it right inside your house (ground floor only). This is for the 48 contiguous United States only. If you want this shipped internationally, it will cost extra and we will have to discuss it and get a shipping quote before you pull the trigger. Regarding shipping time, North American Van Lines only picks up from my location once a week. So shipping will probably take between 7 and 14 days depending on where you are in the country. In some rare cases possibly longer. For what it's worth, I have been collecting (hoarding) games for over 30 years and selling them on eBay since about 1997. I have probably shipped two thousand games (many but not all on eBay), from individual games to full containers. You won't find a more reputable seller...check my feedback. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a money-back guarantee on this just because a lot can happen in shipping. What I CAN guarantee is that if you pick the game up, or if not when the game leaves my hands, it will be exactly as described and photoed above. And in 30 years of selling, I have never left anyone in the lurch or ripped anyone off. I'm a fair, honest guy...ask anyone.
