Description: 1981 Kawasaki GPZ1100 I purchased this stretched GPZ drag bike from an older gentleman who had held on to this bike for many years, and painted it in the likeness of an Eddie Lawson replica, so it’s a replica of the replica. I hooked up an auxiliary drip bottle and it cranked up on full choke and ran well and stumbled a bit when choked off. The carb will need to be jetted or adjusted but looked clean when I cracked the bowls on the 33MM smooth bores. It has a Dyna electronic ignition underneath the seat and this setup with the smoothbores and the lowering and stretch indicates this was a drag bike. I’m not positive of what’s been done to the motor internally, but I can say it doesn’t smoke or knock or make funny noises. I have a stock swing arm to go with and freshly painted covers w/ gold lettering, if wanting to go back to a more stock spec. I’ll include that with the purchase free of charge. The tank is super clean inside and has no rust holes or corrosion or soft spots and was well stored. The brakes work decently and will probably need a good bleed or rebuild. The tires are older and will need swapping out.
