1987 Gibson Les Paul Custom Black

Description: Great playing and sounds vintage Gibson! 10.5lbs So I bought this on eBay a few years back. It had some issues that were not disclosed and I ended up paying way too much but that is eBay for you!! Headstock repair at some point. Very good repair I actually didn't notice when I first received it. It looks like a drop but not a complete break. excellent repair and partial refinish. The truss rod seems to be stuck to the nut. I had it check out by a few luthier and they said to leave it alone because the neck is perfect. Corner of the headstock binding was repaired at some point. Lots of play wear but overall good condition! It's hard to capture the scratches and dings in the pictures because of the color but they are there. Frets and fretboard are beautiful and in excellent condition. Custom 50s style wiring harness made by STARR Guitars. The knobs are aftermarket as well as the pickups rings. The original pickguard is in the case. It appears to have been trimmed to fit the larger pickup rings. The rest of the hardware appears to be original. The bridge is starting to do that "sunken ship" thing. I have a new on included with the sale. It is from a newer Gibson Les Paul Custom. 490/498 pickups Schaller strap locks. Currently has black knobs installed Case is non original Gibson pink/brown 90s it is a little beat up but all latches (not the combo lock) and handle work. Great playing guitar with crazy sustain and tons of character. This guitar is a player and it rocks! It sounds and plays awesome. The neck is perfect!! Feels so good!! Yes this guitar has some old issues but the playability and sound is perfect now. It needs nothing!
