He fought the encroachment of pioneers onto tribal lands, but he was ultimately forced onto a reservation. He fought for American Indian rights until his death in 1911... Along with the well-written text, the book contains eleven full-page, old photographs. The book is 31 years old and it, and the dust jacket are in absolutely mint condition - no damage of any kind!
