The body and neck are crafted from Honduran mahogany, and this SG weighs 7lbs 15oz, balancing well on a strap. The mahogany construction lends this SG a certain natural midrange growl and warmth, and these qualities are faithfully captured by the ‘57 Classic PAF humbuckers. Featuring Alnico II magnets, these pickups have a smooth treble bark with tailored midrange for optimal clarity.
