Description: Gorgeous true vintage (90s-Y2K) Ann Demeulemeester oxfords, made in Italy! Marked size 39, fits me TTS to somewhat generous (I typically wear size 40, but can get away with these comfortably enough--and indeed, did wear them for many years). In sturdy-yet-supple black leather--fans of early Ann D. will know that her shoes excel in the leather department, & genuinely improve & beautifully patinate over time/with use. Featuring uniquely shaped, bulbous, somewhat slanted stack heels, approx. 2"--very reasonable & easy to walk in all day (I frequently wore them for 10+ miles!). Lace-up closure. In overall good vintage / preowned condition--as mentioned, these were worn & loved for many years, but IMO, the wear is in no way unaesthetic, & in fact adds to their appeal. Some creasing/scuffing/general typical wear to uppers, & easily cleanable dirt on soles. Protective Topy sole savers have been added, as well as Long Life heels--a ~$60 improvement to longevity, by a professional cobbler.
