It is the lithographed 42c Sunflower definitive booklet stamp. The 2008 self-adhesive is tagged and serpentine die cut 11¼ x 10¾ on 2 or 3 sides. Derry Noyes designed the stamp and it was printed by Ashton-Potter (USA) Ltd. (APU). The striking and bright flowers are not related to any other definitive issue. Forty two cents paid the USPS First Class 1 oz domestic letter rate for only one year from May 12, 2008 until May 11, 2009. All stamps have been expertly cut from clean 4347a panes of 20 and remain on their original backing paper. The stamps will not be moved or remounted, which would be damaged and thus have a lower value.
