This is a 1960s New Old Stock original 16mm inner opening stainless steel buckle. Signed with ACIER on back. Has the distinct profile and sharp notch to hold the tang. Great opportunity to install this correct original buckle on your Tropic band that has the incorrect buckle or use this buckle to upgrade a generic band to look like an expensive Genuine Swiss Tropic strap on your watch. The top to bottom clearance of this buckle is 6.4mm so it will work with any Tropic band or unpadded or lightly padded leather bands.
