Description: George Reeves Superman Authentic Suit Costume Material Relic Swatch Card from the Wardrobe department. Nice condition, never displayed. Nice white card stock and glossy photo. Corners nice. See photos for possible imperfections on condition from your point of view and details about description. Choosing to read this description is an excellent decision. This highly sought after vintage collectible was only available to the first 1,000 attendees of the 1992 FX Toy Show in Orlando, FL. Up for sale is this amazing costume swatch from fabric used to create one of the original capes George Reeves wore while taping the 1950s television series "The Adventures of Superman". Since an original costume from the TV show is virtually out of reach financially for most of us, and may not even be available for sale anyway, you have the option to own this superb fabric swatch. It comes attached to 8.5x11 inch white card stock folded with a rare photo of George Reeves and Noel Neill backstage. It is an actual photograph attached to the card stock and not a printed one. For more details of the item and its background, see the photo of the item. This is your chance to own a piece of television history and become one of a few elite individuals who call themselves television aficionados. The fabric was originally obtained from the Superman museum in Metropolis, Illinois. The card is approximately 8.5 inches wide and 11 inches tall folded in half (to 5.5 inches).
