Description: Camus, Albert. The Rebel. Translated by Anthony Bower. Rev. ed. New York: Alfred A Knopf, 1957. Offered for sale is a copy of Albert Camus's The Rebel--in an early U.S. edition, from Knopf, dated 1957. This copy is in good condition: the binding and hinges are sturdy; the leaves (untoned) are free of annotations, underscores, &c. At some point, the endpapers were moistened; the dye from the top-stain bled into the leaves and left them slightly wrinkled. There is however, no odor whatever of mildew or mustiness. This remains a desirable copy. The book will be posted by USPS Media Mail. Buyers abroad will be served by eBay's International Shipping Program.
