Description: This copy of The Third Annual Report of the President of Harvard University to the Overseers on The State of the Institution for the academical year 1827-8 was published in 1829 by the University and printed by Hilliard, Metcalf,and Co. of Cambridge. The covers are slightly stained and dirty, with some chipping along the edges and loss of material along the spine. The booklet was originally string-bound, but the string is now absent. Therefore, there are several instances of detached or semi-detached pages. The overall condition of the document is good. The illustrations accompanying this description show the booklet’s title page and four examples of information presented in the document.
