Description: This 1862 publication of the 1860 Eighth U.S. Census comes in good condition, with fully intact binding (though some looseness of the stitching between pages), minor handling wear to the cover boards, a name in ink on the hinge page, a few stamps and pencil markings, and some yellowing to the inside pages (see pictures). The book was compiled by Superintendent Jos. C.G. Kennedy. It was published by the Government Printing Office in Washington D.C.
