Description: Antique print saved from a historical book from1898 about fashion from the early 1800's in Europe. Each having their own title and year that they represent. The entire collection of prints appears to be from the point of view of the British looking backwards to past fashion trends throughout Europe. These trends mainly seem to reside in England and France. Since they are removed from a book, the page is asymmetrical width wise. The actual print and the title measures 6 1/2" x 4". The colors of the print look great while the border has some darkening or foxing. Marked FC. Wonderful piece of fashion history. Titles include: "The Place de la Concorde" "After a Meeting of the Institute" "The Terrace of the Luxembourg" "The Avenue des Champs-Elysees" Please note: The color of the products displayed on photos may differ slightly from the actual products due to factors such as photography lighting, computer resolution, or lighting within your own home, etc. All hand painted and hand-crafted items may be expected to have naturally occurring variations, even in new items. Imperfections add to the history and character of each piece.
