Description: This was an Estate find from a ways back. The ring was so incredible we had to send it off to be certified and graded. There was debate as to whether the stone was a Raspberry Sapphire or Amethyst. Now we know. The ring Art Deco period and is marked 750 and tested at 18k. There is a maker mark but we never figured it out other than a suggestion it may be an Egyptian maker mark. The Amethyst is a massive beautiful 17.2 ct Emerald cut. Really reaches out and grabs your attention. Color is incredible. Gold work is terrific. Really cries out Art Deco. This ring went to like 9 jewelers before being sent off. All were impressed.
