Description: Offering this beautiful Victorian era Black Forest style carved wood wall pocket. It has a darkly elegant branch, leaf, and flower design. The piece was carved in a handful of pieces, and the trim piece on the right has come loose of its nails, so it does need to be resecured. There is also a subtle repair to a piece of vine top right, and the satin and leather of the original pocket portion of the piece have considerable age wear and would need to be replaced in the event of a restoration. That said, the piece is complete, functional, and very handsome. Measures about 19" x 19".
