Description: Antique Chinese Cloisonne Match Box dating 1880-1910 made for the tourist trade. These little works of art were very labor intensive. They had to make the form to attach the wires to, then they make the design using brass wires which are pinched to form the design, then they put the enamel colors in between the design. At that point, the piece is sanded and polished. This match box is in good condition and measures 2-3/8"W x 1-1/2" H x 7/8" deep
