Description: This Ornate German Language Bible from 1890s is the Martin Luthier translation. It contains a history of the scriptures, a concordance and dictionary. It has both color and black and white illustrations. The front cover and several early pages are loose, but the metal clasps are tight and hold them in place. After the first couple of pages the binding is tight. There is wear on the cover. There is an inscription from 1896 on dedication page. See pictures for overall condition. A hand knitted cross from late 1800s or early 1900s plus family pictures of the Bible’s early owners are included.
