Description: This is a rather unique piece - Iron base with a Brasshandle. I have had this for many years and have no idea whatit is. I have always used it as an Eclectic Art Sculpture andit has always been a great conversation piece. The piece measures 10 1/2 inches in length - 2 3/4inches in diameter at the bottom. It is heavy at just over4 pounds. There is a hole near the top of the Iron section - Photo'sN0. 4 and 5. The Iron section appears to be hollow. Thereare 4 3/4 inch circular indentations on the bottom. (Please ignore the Green Felt Pads - which I will leave on) I have always thought that the Brass Handle might possiblyscrew off - but never made it happen. I did not want to use awrench for fear of scratch or dinging the Brass. There has been a lot of speculation as to what this is. Themost popular idea is that it is some type of Clock Part but Ican't see that because of the weight. It is a very attractive - very masculine piece.
