Description: ANTIQUE MINIATURE PRINT ON GOLD LEAF OF A CEILING FRESCO IN ITALY BY GUIDO RENI ENTITLED “L’AURORA” The print with gold background is about 5” X 2 1/2” inside an antique miniature wood frame. The fresco was done about 1614. Measures 6 1/8” X 3 1/8”. It’s missing the black backing paper. Has 4 old nails to hold it. I was told these were done on gold foil or gold leaf. The gold in the background is obvious. In VG+ condition with several tiny chips in the wood frame. Will be shipped free in the U.S. by padded box.
