Description: It was given to me by an elderly woman that said it belonged to her Mother. I am not an antique expert but from my research, I think it was hand painted. The creamer is about 4 inches in height, a little taller at the spout. Circumference is about is about 3 and 1/2 inches in width. I would say the color is an antique white. The handle of the creamer is delicate with a gold embellishment stripe along the center and on the front edge. The brim of the creamer which scallops all the way around in circumference also has a gold stripe. There is a gray shadowing underneath the brim as it curves downward. It then forms a narrow bodice and expands outward to a wider circumference where the flower motif is located. The front flower motif has two rose stems in bloom. The upper rose has a medium pink shade and the lower one is a pale pink. The leaves are a pale green color. The back flower motif has only one rose stem that separates forming two blooming roses. This is much smaller than the front. Near the bottom of the creamer, the width narrows and forms a scalloped base, with some shadowing near the base. Right above the base are raised patterns embedded into the porcelain. There is some stain on the inside of the creamer. The bottom has the red markings with the RS Prussia stamp and the green wreath. A little bit of scuffing on the edges on the bottom base. The sugar bowl is about 4 inches in height. Circumference is about 4 inches in width. I would say the color is an antique white. The handles of the sugar bowl are delicate with a gold embellishment stripe along the center and on the front edges with some fading. The brim of the sugar bowl which scallops all the way around in circumference also has a gold stripe, again there is some wear. There is a gray shadowing underneath the brim as it curves downward. It then forms a narrow bodice and expands outward to a wider circumference where the flower motif is located. The front flower motif has two rose stems in bloom. The upper rose has a medium pink shade and the lower one is a pale pink. The leaves are a pale green color and the blue background is more prevalent than what you see on the creamer. The back flower motif has only one rose stem that separates forming two blooming roses. This is much smaller than the front. Near the bottom of the sugar bowl, the width narrows and forms a scalloped base, which is much smaller than the creamer and with some shadowing near the base. Right above the base are raised patterns embedded into the porcelain. There is very little staining on the inside of the sugar bowl. The bottom has the red markings with the RS Prussia stamp and the green wreath. A little bit of scuffing on the edges on the bottom base. There is no top or lid to this bowl. Like I said I am not an expert but I believe that this was made about 1890's. Shipping is high based on the farthest location (Seattle) from my Florida location. Will refund difference (placed in package) if cost is less.
