This is a RARE silver inlaid bowl, in the Mamluk revival taste and work, ALL hand chiseling, with 3 cartouches of calligraphy, honoring a Mamluk officer or leader. It is an outstanding silver inlaid bowl or dish. With repeated plants motifs in the arabesque style and taste. Every millimeters was hand chiseled, which needs a lot of time and skill.
