This pretty pair of earrings features two moonstone cabochons. The moonstones show flashes of blue and are bezel-set into threaded post earrings for pierced ears. Although unmarked, they test 10K and 14K gold, for the settings and threaded backings, respectively. The threaded posts/ backings were a safety measure to prevent loss.The earrings date from around 1900. Condition: Excellent--I believe these were handmade as the stone domes are not identical in shape, but originated this way from the craftsman. When looking straight on, as in while wearing, you would not notice.
