Description: This bowl is what it is, the real deal--a 1920-1940 era survivor that exhibits an authentic character and look and so possesses a peculiarly appealing charm. Bowl is unmarked as to brand, but distinctly resembles other wares made by the W.S. George Pottery Company. Certainly its three (3) underside rim chips (one of which chips is visible from the top), extensive and uniform crazing, and glaze runs and drips place it in the right time frame (see photos).
