The curved anvil, made in high strength ERGAL aluminum, helps hold the branch in place and the blade moves back as it cuts simultaneously helping to hold the branch in place creating an easier and cleaner cut. The high carbon blades are both fully hot forged and tempered, making them stronger yet lighter. The blade assembly is finished with a hard chrome plating laced with Xylan 1010 particles to provide long lasting durability and a superior cut, plus corrosion and chemical resistance. Please note the leather sheath in photos does not come with the shears but can be purchased in our other listing. Spare parts are available.
