There are a few tiny dings on the bottom, but slightI think on the right side of the side with the S monogram there is a slightly pushed in spot, but itis hard to notice because of the ornate patterning. I could not get it to show in photo, again it is slight We didn't polish this at all This is a very nicely made piece.
