Description: Everybody calm down; it's "legit." As you may have notitced, many sellers here on eBay have given up on listing Black Flag merch, since we all know that the legal team (probably just one dude) at SST Records routinely trawls the platform looking for items to "report." Dude (and you know it's a dude) complains to eBay that such items are in violation of copyright law. Dude has a wide berth: any item can get "flagged" for any reason, and eBay summarily caves and cancels the item, forbidding us from listing it ever again (supposedly). If this happens more than twice, they put us in "seller jail," whereby we're forbidden to list at all for three full days. But that's not the annoying part. The annoying part is that we have no recourse. Somewhere in the "canned" email we receive from eBay regarding these events, we're told that we can appeal to SST for a hearing of some sort, but that's totally useless, since no one at SST would ever respond to such an inquiry. Why would they? Anyway, I've decided to list a series of these shirts at my own peril. Each item will bear the "SST" logo and stamp, insuring--supposedly--that it's an actual piece of merch from their product line; but if I'm listing it here, it won't be some boxy new piece of crap that looks and feels like "superstore" merch. Mine are all nicely broken in but not at all busted up, soft and comfy with tons of life, and at affordable prices (and even if I sell everything I list, I'll still have a drawer full of "off menu" items to enjoy). Should anyone from SST or eBay wish to question the "authenticity" of this or any other item for sale at slim_punk_vintage, hit me up: I'd love to hear about it. Have a good one.
