About the Composer: Igor Stravinsky was a Russian-born composer who had a revolutionary impact on musical thought and sensibility in the early 20th century. Stravinsky was born on June 5, 1882, in Oranienbaum (now Lomonosov), near St. Petersburg, Russia.
