This variety can show red/ pink/ purple/ bronze or green colors depending on the conditions of the tank. Cabomba works very well for generating oxygen in a tank and to hide equipment like filters. It also works great to use as a place for fry to hide. The reddish color of this plant helps with contrast on the aquarium where usually most of the plants are green. We ship all items in the first 24 hours after the payment is cleared by ebay except during the weekend and during holidays when the postal service does not work. Most of our plants arrive in good condition but there is always the chance due to weather, improper handling of usps or just bad luck that an order arrives dead. Deteriorated plants It is normal for aquatic plants that have been out of water for several days and exposed to the rigors of shipping to arrive a bit deteriorated. Falling leaves, bent stems and some discoloration does not mean the plant is dead, it just means that the plant has been sent thru the mail. Usually after being planted it should recover without any issues. If you think the plant arrived in too bad of a condition please take a picture and send it to use to assess the condition of the plant and see if it is viable or not Snails and others hitchhikers Our nursery take all measures possible to keep snails and any others hitchhikers from our plants. Even tho we take all these measures there is always a small possibility of hitchhikers.
