The mid-heel height makes them super easy to wear as well. Very comfortable, soft suede boots, just a little too small for me. I'm a size US 7.5-8 and these are true to size for conversion IT38 to US 7.5. If you want to wear thick socks, I'd recommend these for a size 7 US. They are a touch narrow. The boot shaft fit my legs snugly and comfortably (not over pants though), and I am approx size 28 in jeans and size 6 US overall.
