The domed copper cap on these billets are lead filled and provides a forward weight feel to run those nice long, thinning flakes on spalled and heat treated material. Billet handles come with a non slip rubberized coating for easy handling. Our wood pressure flaker features a cemented copper tip that can be hammered to resharpen until no copper remains.
