In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched an upper case "I", followed by the matrix numbers A-1/B-2, indicating that early stampers were used to press this first edition at RCA Records' pressing plant located in Indianapolis, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as Near Mint. The spine is Near Mint. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint, with surfaces that are shiny and bright, in a like-new condition, without any sleeve marks, surface scratches, scuffs or spindle marks on the labels. I'm play grading this record as Near Mint. It plays all the way through without any surface noise, pops, skips or lock-ups from start to finish. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I've owned it and still has a lot of life yet. This is the best copy of this album that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find one in this condition, especially an Indianapolis pressing.
