Description: Daiya '63 Chevy Biscayne Highway Patrol Tin Litho Battery Japan Rare *Read* VTG This vintage Daiya brand tin litho 1963 Chevrolet Biscayne Highway Patrol battery operated Bump 'n' Go police car is being sold as-is. As shown in the photos, there is rust throughout the toy, but none appears to have eaten through the metal. The motor spins when turned on, but the gear to engage the wheels is misaligned. It is most likely fixable, but requires disassembling the car. The red bubble light worked when we took photos, but somehow stopped working between that time and writing this listing for it - a period of 1-2 days. It appears that the wires are still attached where they should be, so it may just need to have those wires replaced. The steering wheels on the bottom of the car are dried out and beginning to crack, but the mechanism looks like it would work if the gears were properly aligned, as mentioned above. This is a complete car! It still has all 4 hubcaps, the hood-mounted siren, bubble light, and all the taillights! With a little bit of love and 2 D-cell batteries, this could be an excellent working toy worthy of showing off! Please review all pictures carefully - we use them as part of the description.
