Description: Danelectro/Silvertone 3 Way Switch New replacement switch for vintage and reissue Danelectro and Silvertone electric guitars and basses. These switches will work for any 1969 and earlier Danelectro guitars or basses with a 3 way switch. Some reissue models also use this switch. These switches will also work for 1950s-1960s vintage Fender Duo-Sonic guitars. These switches were custom ordered from Carling by Stokkers' Musical Instruments to be the same specs as the original Carling switches used in vintage Danelectro and Silvertone electric and bass guitar circuits. The switch has a solid metal bat tip that is not removable, just like the originals. Normal 3 way switches do not work in these vintage models and these 3 way switches do not work in normal guitar circuits like a Gibson SG or Les Paul. The switch comes with a hex nut to adjust how much of the switch comes through the pickguard or body of the guitar and a knurled nut to affix the switch to the pickguard or body. The switch will need to be professionally installed and soldered into a circuit to work. The switches are slightly larger than the originals but will still fit inside vintage guitars and basses. Some modification may be necessary on certain models. The switch is not able to be returned. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.
