Description: for sale here is an excellent and clean and only very lightly used hardy golden prince 7/8 trout fly fishing reel , rear tension , left or right wind , straight unfiled foot , reversible nickel silver lineguard , 2 screw quick spool release , overall very very nice , clean and tidy and mechanically excellent , good strong loud check , no damage , buckles , line burns or flaws ..pretty much about 98% paint intact with only a few little tiny spots of age related and user wear as seen , , very good clean tight and tidy example with no looseness or wobble on spindle considering the age ...... actually an excellent clean and tidy reel to use and comes with excellent spare spool and printed paper instructions too...,a really lovely little lot and as i said looks only very lightly used to me , been through my workshop so all fully stripped , checked and serviced , one of hardys finest built in alnwick reels. please see my other listings of hardy and other vintage fishing items this week........look at my other items for sale plus my other ebay account "w666fly" if you buy a reel from me , you can be sure it has been through my workshop , lines removed , fully cleaned and serviced and any worn or damaged parts replaced with new ones , so no loose handles , no chewed up screws , no spool wobble or spindle wear , no bent or filed feet , no worn pawls , no loose rivets or missing parts , good tight springs and always described exactly as i see it , i do all the hard work so you dont have to worry about getting an inferior reel obviously the more vintage reels may have little flaws such as worn screw heads or paint wear or scratches etc but all items will be fully photographed and described correctly , if you are unsure then please contact me..
