Description: EXIT 13 ~ Bliss Blood Smoking Songs / DEMO Cassette Tape Rare original demo with excellent sound quality. Not your typical demo quality. Ive owned this tape for years. Stored properly in a climate controlled home. Added some iPhone sound clips to YouTube. Including the alternate takes & different mixes than on LP/CD. See below This tape has great original takes / outtakes. Includes members from Brutal Truth , Pain Teens , Sanctus and more. Excellent Lounge Jazz Marijuana themed early material! { Exit-13 was a grindcore band from Millersville, Pennsylvania. The band were formed in 1989 by Relapse Records founder and co-owner Bill Yurkiewicz, guitarist Steve O'Donnell and bassist Joel Dipietro. Their early recordings, including the Disembowelling Party tape, The Unrequited Love of Chicken Soup 7" and the Eat More Crust tape, their debut full-length Green Is Good and the EP Spare the Wrench, Surrender the Earth featured a line-up of Yurkiewicz, O'Donnell and DiPietro, with drum duties being shared between Bill Schaeffer and Pat McCahan}. — (More info below) Cassette - VG+. Played only a handful of times. Also guaranteed. Felt is super clean! It was handled right after they wrote the title in pen on their paper labels which caused a bit of a smudge, as seen in pics. Very minor. Otherwise closer to EX. Properly stored & sounds amazing 👂 Hear / Listen: I added some iPhone sound clips to YouTube. Including the alternate takes & different mixes than on the LP/CD. You can check for yourself. This was definitely their rough mix demo before Relapse Records releases it. There’s moments where you can hear them talking before & after tracks. Someone even says “I fucked that up” towards the end of one songs. I uploaded audio clips of some of these obvious differences. I really think some of these takes are better than what made it onto the LP. Honestly! Listen to the beginning of “I’m mellow” on CD/LP & compare it to their/this original demo. Great stuff, Mega rare! Apologies for the poor iPhone audio upload quality but I have no way of properly digitizing my tapes. This has excellent audio sound quality!
