FLASK: Angraecum corrugatum DISTINCTIVE, UNCOMMON, COMPACT orchid species

Description: Up for Sale: A flask of a selfing of Angraecum corrugatum. The auction flask is shown in the images with the tape measure. The blooming images are of the parent plant. [5424] Contents: Approximately 25 seedlings that are ready to come out of flask. The Species: This is endemic to the Réunion Island where it grows at elevations from 2600 to 5600 ft. It grows in humid forests in the center of the island and in the heights of the south and southeast. The flowers are 2 to 2.75 inches wide and are remarkable in this group for having a narrow lip that lacks a spur. Culture: This has grown and bloom well in intermediate conditions. I grow it mounted with coconut fiber at the roots. It is watered most days with dilute fertilizer and dries quickly before it is watered again. It gets moderately bright light. About this flask: I take great pride in producing flasks with strong seedlings that are ready to come out of flask and have a very good survival rate. The survival of these seedlings is dependent on the conditions where they will be growing and the skill of the grower. Whether they are in flask or bagged, you should be prepared to pot them up shortly after receiving.Shipping & Handling Charge: It is the buyer’s responsibility to check the weather in the delivery area and let me know if special precautions are necessary.Packing and shipping for the first plant or flask is US $13.95; additional plants or flasks in the same shipment are only $1.50 each.
