Description: Fostoria Cascade Honey Pot / Molasses Can with Lid and Wood LadleThis Honey Pot / Molasses Can was made made by Fostoria Glass Company in the 1880s. The pattern is Cascade or Swirl. The honey pot measures 5" tall with lid. There is a pontil on the base. The lid is notched to hold the spoon or dipper. Included is the old wood spoon/ dipper that the family used for years with the pot. It is 4 1/4" long . I don't know if it is original or not but it looks like they have been together forever. Item is in Excellent Condition with no chips, nicks or cracks. There is a small white deposit in the ring around the bottom inside the base. It should clean out - we just have very hard water as I live in a limestone cliff area. The wood spoon has a gouge in the back of the bowl but it is still very nice and usable.
