Produced by Trevor Horn (The Buggles, Bruce Woolley and the Camera Club) an English record producer and musician. His influence on pop and electronic music in the 1980s was such that he has been called "the man who invented the eighties". In 1981, Horn became a full-time producer, working on successful songs and albums for acts including Yes, Dollar, ABC, Malcolm McLaren, Grace Jones, and Frankie Goes to Hollywood. In 1983, Horn and his wife, the music executive Jill Sinclair, purchased Sarm West Studios, London, and formed a record label, ZTT Records, with the journalist Paul Morley. Horn also co-formed the electronic group Art of Noise. Frankie Goes to Hollywood were a British band from Liverpool, who released two studio albums and seven singles before disbanding in 1987.In 1983, they released their debut single, "Relax", which was highly controversial, due to its sexually explicit lyrics and highly suggestive music video. The video, which was shot in a gay nightclub, was banned by the BBC and MTV. 1984 they released the "Two Tribes" video which depicted the American and Russian leaders, engaged in a physical battle in a arena. If you were into the controversial 80's scene, Frankie Goes to Hollywood were on top of the game! A must have for any 1980's collector. Definately one of my favorite groups of the 1980's!
