Description: Vintage Frejus road bike from the late 60's or possibly very early 70's. Frame, most components, paint, and decals are all original (it's got a New Shimano 600 Italian Bottom Bracket). New sew-up tires recently glued on, as well as new chain, cables, brake hoods & bar tape. Frame appears to be Reynolds 531, though there are no 531 decals (total weight as shown is only 22.9 lbs, so the steel used in the frame has got to be fairly good stuff!). Seat tube is 52cm C-T (center of bottom bracket to top of head lug), top tube is 54 cm C-C. Components include Campagnolo Nuovo Record crankset (52x42t), NR derailleurs, NR shifters, NR 1044 Micro adjustable seat post, and Nuovo Tipo high flange hubs with Fiamme tubular rims, stainless spokes laced 4x, Universal Mod. 61 center pull brakes, Nervar steel cottered crankset (52x44). Lyotard platform pedals, 3ttt bar & stem and nice Ideal leather saddle. This is not a perfect show bike-- it's got 50+ years of patina including plenty of minor cosmetic scuffs, scratches, etc. Including a very small ding in the top tube of you look closely enough. That said, it's ready to ride and has lots of miles left on it! This bike is ready to roll into your favorite l'Eroica course!
